HYBRID AIR QUALITY SENSOR NETWORK
At Emerald Green Power, we’re enhancing air quality monitoring with cutting-edge IoT sensors installed along the Heavitree corridor in Exeter. These sensors provide real-time, high-resolution data, revealing daily fluctuations and pinpointing sources of localised NO2 pollution—something traditional methods miss.



Using advanced Virtual Sensing Algorithms based on Land Use Regression Models, we interpolate data between sensor locations to create a detailed picture of air quality across the area. Our mission is to empower communities with accurate, timely information to make healthier, environmentally conscious decisions.

The system dynamically adjusts combustion conditions through ECU manipulation by managing Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) rates and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration cycles, enabling enhanced engine efficiency and cleaner operation.
